Darryl Heasley:

Mr. Heasley was accredited as an Accredited Marine Surveyor (AMS) by the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS) in 1996, and was certified by the International Association of Marine Surveyors in 2011. Mr. Heasley began professionally in the marine industry in 1965 starting as a deck hand on a passenger vessel, and becoming a licensed captain, and now holds a Coastwise Masters license. In 1979 Mr. Heasley began working in boatyards and has been a boat designer, project manager and yard foreman.

Mr. Heasley became a marine surveyor in 1992, beginning as a casualty surveyor for The Marine Surveyors. 1994 he became a partner in David Holdsworth & Associates, and expanded into condition and valuation surveys and expert witness work. In 1998 Mr. Heasley started Pacific Marine Surveyors and is currently active in all aspects of marine surveying and consulting.
